Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is one of the most common hereditary cardiomyopathies and it is estimated that HCM affects 1 in 500 people worldwide. HCM can cause a range of symptoms, including chest pain, shortness of breath, and fainting, and can lead to serious complications such as heart failure and sudden cardiac death. The burden of disease associated with HCM is significant, both in terms of the impact on individuals and their families, as well as the healthcare system. In this webinar experts will discuss the prevalence of HCM and the impact on patients.
